DAILY REFLECTION

“fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭

When the road is long and the weight feels heavy, remember this: we are not running aimlessly, nor are we enduring in vain. Every step, every struggle, every moment of pressing forward is seen by the One who went before us.

Dr Billy Tang is a paraplegic farmer, founder, and CEO of PWDSmartFarmability, a social enterprise to empower Malaysia’s disabled community (OKU) through urban farming. In December 2015, a car accident left him paralyzed from the waist down.  After overcoming severe depression, he channeled his agricultural expertise into creating innovative, sustainable farming solutions.  His "Hope Box," a self-regenerating vegetable terrarium, and "Regenerative Organic Soil-U-tion Aquaponics Satellite Farm System" provide food security for underserved communities in Malaysia.  Thousands of these systems have been deployed, yielding significant harvests and earning Tang numerous awards, including a Regal British Award.  His recent book, "The PWD Smart FarmAbility – Journey from Wheels to Farm," shares his inspiring story of resilience and innovation. Billy’s dedication and resilience demonstrated in overcoming challenges and achieving success in diverse fields are inspiring examples of faith and perseverance.

Hebrews 12:2 invites believers to press on through life’s trials, not with fear, but with unwavering hope. It assures us that every hardship we endure in faith brings us closer to the joy and fulfillment found in God’s promises.

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."
