DAILY REFLECTION

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household.”
Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭31‬ ‭

When the head of the family embraces salvation, the ripple of grace can transform the entire household.

OImad ud-din Lahiz, a distinguished Islamic scholar, writer, preacher, and Quranic translator in India whose personal encounter with the gospel sparked a legacy of transformation. On April 29, 1866, he made a bold and heartfelt decision in Amritsar to surrender his life to Jesus Christ. His conversion wasn’t a mere intellectual shift but a deeply spiritual awakening rooted in the pursuit of eternal salvation. What followed was nothing short of miraculous. His wife, five sons, and four daughters also received Christ, their hearts moved by the truth that had changed his. Together, they became a living testimony of a household redeemed, bound not only by blood, but by the shared promise of new life in Christ. He continued his journey of faith through writing and testimony, offering the hope he found to others. His legacy reminds us that when one life is yielded to Christ, generations can be transformed. And when the light of truth enters a home, it can illuminate every heart within it.

Acts 16:31 highlights God's proactive love. Salvation is actively offered, reaching beyond individuals to embrace families, demonstrating God's desire for the salvation of entire households through faith in the Lord Jesus.

“Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”
