Daily Reflection

“I am convinced that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 1:6

God never abandons His work. Our growth in Him is not due to our perfection, but to His unwavering grace that never gives up. His grace continually shapes, corrects, strengthens, and guides us—step by step, faithfully unchanging.

We were deeply saddened when Professor Paul Zheng, the founder of Tyrannus Online Seminary, was taken to heaven by the Lord on January 22, 2023. He was a visionary with God's will, bearing the mission of advancing theological education. Yet, even in our grief, God's hand had already begun to work.

The burden of leadership then fell upon me—a businessman without formal theological training, entrusted with a heavenly responsibility. Despite my uncertainty, I clung to one truth: when God calls, His hand equips. In His grace, a team of directors, theology teachers, advisors, and co-workers stood together. Courses expanded from certificates and diplomas to Bachelor of Theology degrees. The torch of training faithful servants continued to burn—because God's hand held fast.

Then, a major breakthrough occurred: we successfully launched TOSLMS.org—our own online learning management system. What once seemed impossible became a reality under God's guidance.

On September 19, 2025, history will be written. TOS will officially receive accreditation from the Asian Theological Association (ATA) for its certificates, diplomas, and Bachelor of Theology programs (in Chinese and English). Indeed, what God begins, He will complete.

The journey continued, and the postgraduate diploma and Master of Arts programs gradually took shape. At the third graduation ceremony on November 22, 2025, I handed the baton to Dr. Zhang Shun—a young, visionary, confident, and freshly anointed leader.

At the same time, God has opened a new frontier—Tyrannus Network International (TNI), connecting believers in learning, leadership, and the workplace. TNI Business Centers have become hubs where leaders can dream, plan, and build, with plans to establish more centers in multiple countries in the future.

From classrooms to meeting rooms, from nations to the internet, the vision continues to expand—to be forever entrusted in God's faithful hands, that His first work will be completed. Therefore, we continue forward with full confidence, believing that He who began a good work within us will bring it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 1:6 assures us that our lives are in the hands of a faithful God. What He begins, He will hold fast to; what He holds fast to, He will complete. This promise brings courage in trials, hope in the unknown, and unwavering faith that His will will be done.

"God does not call people who are already equipped; He calls people and then equips them."
