DAILY REFLECTION

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14

God is revealing His power and faithfulness - not merely as echoes from ancient stories, but as living truth in our midst today.

One powerful witness to this reality is Rev. Philip Mantofa, an Indonesian pastor, author, and artist whose life and ministry continue to stir revival across Asia and beyond. As senior pastor of the GMS Church network (Mawar Sharon Church), he pastors one of the fastest-growing church movements in the region, with over 100,000 members spanning Asia, Australia, Europe, and the USA.

Through evangelistic crusades, he has led hundreds of thousands to Christ, calling people to approach God with humility and hunger. His meetings ignite a passion to pursue God wholeheartedly, cultivating a love that transforms lives and communities. His “A Trip to Hell” crusades have awakened many to repentance, urging a return to purity and righteousness.

Beyond the pulpit, Rev. Mantofa is a gifted author of bestsellers like Before 30, Warrior for Revival, and Holy Spirit, My Best Friend. Since 2014, he has also expressed his spiritual visions through vibrant oil paintings—artworks that carry prophetic depth and are now displayed and sold internationally.

His life reminds us that the same God who parted seas and raised the dead is still moving today - calling us to deeper surrender, greater love, and bold faith.

2 Chronicles 7:14 assures believers that no matter how far a nation or community drifts, God’s mercy and restoration are available when His people return to Him in humility, prayer, and obedience.

“God will restore, renew, and rebuild, even when things seem ruined and devastated”
