YAB Chow Kon Yeow’s journey from humble beginnings in a squatter settlement to becoming the fifth Chief Minister of Penang is more than a political ascent - it is a testimony to principled leadership. As the only non-Muslim and Chinese head of a Malaysian state government, his tenure stands as a compelling example of courageous, inclusive governance. His policies, grounded in fairness, justice, and the pursuit of prosperity for all, echo the values of righteous leadership. Whether it’s championing economic development, drawing foreign investments, or preserving Penang’s rich cultural tapestry, his vision is one of both progress and equity.
