DAILY REFLECTION

"Let your eyes look directly ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet; then all your ways will be sure.”Proverbs 4:25-26

In a world filled with distractions and temptations, choosing the path of wisdom that honors God is essential to living a righteous life with integrity and purpose.

Lorin Nicholson is an Australian motivational speaker, musician, and athlete who has achieved remarkable success despite being blind since birth due to retinitis pigmentosa.  He refused to let his disability define him. Instead, he chose to scale life’s internal mountains - transforming limitations into platforms for impact. Over the past three decades, he’s become one of Australia’s leading remedial therapists, treating more than 35,000 patients, including Olympic athletes. He has delivered over 4000 keynote addresses to more than a million people across various industries. One of his most remarkable achievements was cycling 4,000 km across Australia alongside his blind brother. He was nominated for Australian of the Year and received a Queensland Service Award.  In 2021, he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his service to the community. His journey showcases how a clear vision, combined with diligent planning and unwavering perseverance, can lead to remarkable achievements, even in the face of significant obstacles.

Proverbs 4:25-26 speaks to the intentional nature of a righteous life.  It's not a matter of chance, but a conscious choice guided by God's wisdom and a heart seeking His guidance.  It calls us to actively focus our gaze and carefully consider each step, ensuring our path remains aligned with God's will.

“A noble purpose inspires sacrifice, stimulates innovation and encourages perseverance."
